Twenty8Twelve

So here is another line that I have found to be absolutely marvelous. I heard about it briefly last fall when Sienna and Savannah Miller introduced the line exclusively to Bergdorf Goodman. Seeing as how we do not have that store near us, I was excited to see it in person in October when I was in NYC. I fell in love!!!

Since then, the Miller sisters have expanded their line to some of my favs - NM (but not ours of course), Nordstrom (again not ours), saks, revolveclothing.com and shopbop.com.

Word on the street is that - "Native Londoners Savannah and Sienna Miller share an artistic sensibility as well as a set of parents. A graduate of Central St. Martins, Savannah worked for design luminaries Alexander McQueen and Matthew Williamson, while Sienna studied acting in New York and went on to a successful career in film. With Sienna's birthdate as its namesake, Twenty8Twelve combines Savannah's design expertise with Sienna's oft-imitated personal style, culminating in a collection of unique pieces with a streetwise femininity."

Here are the three dresses that are on my top picks:

The black tank dress also comes in gray (which is my favorite) and ivory. The gray over top of the ivory is a fun, flirty look. Man, don't even think about looking at a piece of bread or eating A chocolate chip. I need to find someone to give me an honest answer if I can really pull it off and not look like a blimp. Obviously I know that I am no where near blimp status but at the same time, there are some things that are more flattering than others.








This white dress caused lots of apprehension. It looks so great on the model but I was worried that it might be too much fabric for me. It actually is one of the cutest summer dresses I have ever tried on. It unbuttons on the top to give a soft, feminine look - LOVE, LOVE, LOVE.










This little black silk number is very sassy and long enough to cover the rear but short enough to take a second look. There are two great things about it - 1. It is WASHABLE!!!!!!!! and 2. it hits you in all the right places to make you look slim and trim:)









So this cardigan was one of those things that you ABSOLUTELY love and hope more than anything that it will fit like a glove. Sadly, I tried it on and I wanted to cry. My torso is just to short to pull it off. I highly recommend it to anyone with a long torso. It felt like I was walking around in a blanket - but their needs to be some form with the function.




If you ever are in Nordstrom, go to their VIA C department and take a look at the whole collection in their look book. Our store does not carry the line. It is pretty outstanding!!

Enjoy these little dresses.....here is where my problem sets in, where I am going to wear them in this town? If gas wasn't so scary, I could be in Minneapolis every weekend with a new, fabulous dress. Instead, I am on my bicycle on a busy highway (don't tell KK and if you are reading this ignore) going to work trying to do what I can to protest these ridiculous gas prices. A few years ago that would have sounded funny but if you all saw how much the Groseth clan spends on gas, my friends in Ecuador could live for a few months if I just rode my bike for a week!
