Dior Gladiators as seen in SATC and its imposter

Hello Lover - that is a term used in my favorite series SATC and also a way I love to address fabulous shoes. Part of the hype for me for Friday is seeing all of the great fashions that will be in the movie. So far my favorite are these gladiator sandals by Dior:

The irresponsible, reckless me wants to click on add to cart on eluxury.com, but my nonprofit paycheck says, "please, STOP!!!" I am 99.9% of the time am not o.k. with designer look a likes but in this case, I may make an exception. These shoes are uber trendy so $64.99 at Bakers might be more my style. They are still super duper cute:

Monrow

So I also found a new brand that I absolutely LOVE - Monrow.

Formerly known as Harlow, Monrow is an LA-based line started by Megan George and Michelle Wenke. George already had her own line called George, sold in the Savvy department at Nordstrom and other online favorites, had worked with the famed stylist Jessica Paster. They teamed up to create a t-shirt line for everyday use that borrowed elements of high fashion and luxury living. Monrow is known for fashion-focused themes like "Save Rochas" and "Kate", and was recently featured on whowhatweardaily.com. Fans include Rachel Bilson, Mischa Barton, Sienna Miller, and Kate Moss. You know me, if it is on Rachel Bilson - I am a fan!!!! Monrow pieces are made from soft superfine"tissue" cotton. Again, natural fibers - SUPER F-ING FAN.

Here are two that I am watching - hopefully they go on sale soon:

The cardigan I think is a must have! Perfect for summer layering and also in the winter.

Prefall 2008 - See by Chloe

I am already starting to scope the pre-fall collections - crazy, right, since summer hasn't hit? When you still don't feel comfortable putting the hibiscus out at night it is easy to think about warm cozy sweaters. I think I found my first must have for fall by See by Chloe:

I love how the arms roll up so effortlessly and it just looks so fall...and so me. I have a fabulous pair of brown suede Manolo Blahniks that would look great with it and some skinny jeans! The only thing that is making me not get my name on the list is that it is not cashmere. There is some acrylic in it....usually only like natural fibered clothing - can I take the risk?

Super Fine Jeans

So here is my latest jean obsession. I'd love to get my hands on a pair of these Superfine "Blondie" jeans. They are sold out everywhere! I think they'd look great with my Manolo Blahniks for the Sex and the City premiere!!!

Here's the right up on these:

Established in 2003 by Lucy Pinter and Flora Evans, Superfine has become well known in recent years as an innovative style leader, making rock and roll jeans with a real London attitude. As one of the first pioneers of the skinny jean silhouette, they quickly gathered a dedicated following around the world.

High Waist Jeans

So I finally did it - I own high waist jeans!!!
I have been turned off for about a year after seeing how disastrous they looked on Jessica Simpson (during her John Mayer days) on the cover of US Weekly...actually I think she was also in the back where they show what not to wear.
Rumor has it that these are the best - Rich and Skinny (don't we all wish). I tried them on and I loved them. They hide that oh so pretty back fat that is always hanging out of my jeans.....now if I could just get my body to look like the one in this photo. I bet this model never had a baby!
